The manufacturer Eyefi has opened a storage service that makes it possible to upload photos taken not only to a smartphone or a tablet but also to the cloud service. With Eyefi Cloud, a user gets unlimited storage capacity for photos for a fixed amount per year.

An Eyefi Cloud subscription costs $49 per year. According to the manufacturer, there are no limits to the available storage, unlike most cloud storage providers. Eyefi Cloud can also be tried out for three months.

In order to use Eyefi Cloud, in addition to purchasing a Wi-Fi SD card from the company, a photographer must also install the latest Eyefi mobile app on an Android or iOS device. As soon as a user shoots a photo, it will be uploaded directly from his camera to his mobile phone, after which the images will be sent to Eyefi Cloud via a mobile data connection. Incidentally, an Eyefi Cloud account can also be used with multiple cameras that have an Eyefi card.
