Driver Update: Realtek HD Audio 1.29

Realtek Semiconductor Corporation has released a new version of its High Definition Audio codec for the Windows 2000/XP/2003 platform, the version number has arrived at 1.29. These drivers are suitable for the ALC880, ALC882, ALC883, ALC861, ALC260 and ALC262 products from Realtek and should provide the user with a pleasant listening experience. High Definition Audio is the successor to the AC’97 sound codec and was officially introduced a year ago by Intel and Dolby Laboratories. The changes look spectacular again:
