Infinity Ward has released an update for Call of Duty: Warzone that gives players the ability to start private matches. These private lobbies have been added to Warzone as a beta part.

This is update 1.29, which adds the much-requested private rounds in Warzone. In principle, this makes it possible for someone to start a private lobby and, for example, set different rules. Or a player can enter the playing field with a friend to explore the environment and try out weapons without the presence of opponents.

There are a number of conditions before a Private Warzone match or round actually starts. Infinity Ward has three modes set: a regular battleroyal mode with a minimum of fifty players, a Plunder mode with a minimum of thirty players, and a mini battleroyale mode that requires 24 players before the round starts.

The developer would also reduce the game’s total file size by 25GB with this update. In this context, Infinity Ward applies a change to the way textures are downloaded in the PC version. Textures for high resolutions, if set in the menu, are retrieved during gameplay. This is called On-Demand Textures Streaming. Weapons and Operator textures are streamed during the game session to those who have set the texture resolution to high. Players can also set a limit for their streaming
