The Remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare finally gets the Prop Hunt mode, which has proved popular in the past. Gamers on Twitter overwhelmingly opted for the addition of Prop Hunt.

Last week, Raven Software, the game’s developer, staged an election on Twitter. Gamers could choose between adding Prop Hunt or Slasher mode. A separate tweet was posted for each mode, with the game mode with the most retweets being the winner. That ended up being Prop Hunt: this mode received more than 19,000 retweets, while Slasher, a zombie mode, got no more than 3000 votes.

Prop Hunt was first introduced on March 30 with Modern Warfare Remastered. It turned out to be a popular mode at the time, but the addition was only temporary. Prop Hunt was added again in late April and late May, but again it was only temporary, and the mode was removed after the weekend. Raven Software will now continue to add Prop Hunt to the game.

Prop Hunt is a hide-and-seek mode, in which a team of armed attackers is tasked with finding subjects that are hiding. Those players who have to hide can disguise themselves as inconspicuous objects, such as a table or a wooden crate.

Modern Warfare Remastered has been available as a standalone game for the PlayStation 4 since the end of June and is also available as a direct purchase via Steam for a while. However, the first experiences show that the game suffers from performance problems, and there are also many complaints about cheaters. It is not yet clear whether a solution to the problems is being worked on.
