Bungie has announced that halo.bungie.net will be taken offline on February 9. The Halo stats database was still kept up by the developer, even though Bungie hasn’t owned the Halo franchise since 2010.

Bungie announced in a blog that the site will be closed. For many fans, the website was a time capsule for Halo stats from the first Halo titles. Halo.bungie.net kept statistics from Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach.

The site kept track of how many games of Halo have been played online, which weapons were used the most and how many kills were made per Halo title. In addition to general statistics, players can also request their personal statistics based on their gamertag.

The site has not been updated for over nine years. The Halo franchise has been owned by 343 Industries since 2010. Users have until February 9 to save files and statistics. After that, the site will go offline permanently.
