It’s no news that the Boston Dynamics robots have tight moves. But can they really dance? The SpotMini certainly does. The small robot of the American company even manages to squeeze a real moonwalk out of it.

In a video, Boston Dynamics shows off the impressive dancing skills of a SpotMini robot to the song Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson. The company does not provide further details, but the images speak for themselves. The robot that shines on the dance floor actually wants to put Boston Dynamics up for sale next year.

It is not the first time that the SpotMini has been shown. Earlier films have shown some more useful applications of the relatively small robot, such as opening a door with the arm extension and autonomous navigation.

Last week, Boston Dynamics put images online of a field test with the SpotMini. The robot navigated independently on two construction sites in Tokyo and was equipped with cameras to carry out inspections.
