The Beyond Skyrim mod team has released its Bruma release. That’s a big, snowy city from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that’s south of Skyrim. Players can travel seamlessly from Skyrim to Bruma and the surrounding area.

The Skyrim mod, according to the development team, is one and a half times the surface that was introduced in the official Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim. The characters in it have a total of 24,000 lines of text, all voiced by professional and semi-professional voice actors. In addition, the mod contains three hours of original orchestral music. Beyond Skyrim: Bruma also includes numerous new quests, stories, gear, spells, enemies and crafting ingredients. The mod is described as one of the greatest for the game of all time.

The goal of the Beyond Skyrim mod team is to add the entire world of The Elder Scrolls, called Tamriel, as a mod to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the ever-popular game from 2011. That world contains eight regions in addition to Skyrim. , of which part of a single region has now been released. The mod makers will have to work for a few more years before everything is finished.

To run the mod, Skyrim is required, along with all three official DLC packs. The Legendary Edition of the game is also suitable to run the mod. An Xbox One version is also in the works and should be available in a month at the latest, according to a review the mod makers also posted on the mod’s Nexus page. There will be no PlayStation 4 version of the mod.
