Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have announced that Batman: Arkham VR will be available on April 25 for both the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift. Batman: Arkham VR, a game from developer Rocksteady Studios, has been available for the PlayStation VR since last year.

The game supports both the Oculus Touch and the Vive controllers. In addition, there is full gamepad support, so that the PlayStation 4 Dual Shock 4 Controller, the Xbox One Controller and the Steam Controller can also be used on PC.

Batman: Arkham VR is the first game in the series available for virtual reality. The game was released for PlayStation VR at the end of 2016. In the vr game it is possible to explore Wayne Manor and the Batcave. The transition to VR has been a “technical and creative challenge” for the studio, which has seen a lot of emphasis on Batman’s detective skills. The game revolves around the mystery surrounding a murder and tries to apply the style of the comic books.

Rocksteady mentioned last year that it had previously announced that Arkham Knight would be its last Batman game, but that PlayStation VR has changed that. The company then said it wanted to continue with the ‘be the Batman’ theme and expand it.
