Firmware Update: Apple iOS 14.6

Spread the love

Apple has released version 14.6 of iOS . From version 13, iOS is only suitable for the iPhone and the iPads have their own OS, with the main difference being the extra options to use the larger screen. Apple is releasing with iOS 14various changes to the interface of iPhones. For example, users can place widgets on home screens and Apple adds an alphabetical list to the pages full of apps that will form the right-most home screen. Furthermore, users can choose a different browser and mail app as default instead of Safari and Mail. Apple has added support for podcast subscriptions in version 14.6, and now an email address can now be entered in an airtag where previously it could only be a phone number. In addition, various problems have also been resolved.

Podcasts

  • Support for channel and individual program subscriptions

AirTag and Find My

  • Option to add an email address instead of a phone number for the AirTag and Find My Network accessories in Lost Mode
