20th Century Fox got its hands on the Alien: Blackout brand on November 22. It is possible that this will be the name of the new Alien shooter. More details on this will be announced during the Game Awards, which will take place on December 6 and 7.

Windows Central came across the World Intellectual Property Organization award link through several Twitter posts. In addition, the site writes that developer ColdIron Studios has posted vacancies on its website. These are for functions within the team working on the shooter. ColdIron is mainly looking for artists and designers.

Earlier this month, Game Awards boss Geoff Keighley shared a message on Twitter that hinted at the game’s official announcement. The image in the post contains a font used by Weyland-Yutani, the fictional tech company from the Alien series. In January, publisher FoxNext announced that ColdIron is developing a shooter based on the Alien franchise.
