Xiaomi has announced the Mi mobile Power Bank 2 with a capacity of 20,000mAh and support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The new version is somewhat shorter and narrower, and is built on lithium-ion polymers instead of lithium-ion.

The Mi mobile Power Bank 2 will be available in white and has a rough layer that should make the accessory feel good in the hand, writes GizmoChina. Although the new version of the popular external battery is shorter in length and width, the thickness has increased by 2.1mm.

The output has been increased from 5V/2A to 5V/2.4A when using a single port and additional support for 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A has been added. Charging via two ports is still done at 5V/3.6A, but support for Quick Charge 3.0 has been added.

Xiaomi claims that charging of the Mi Max smartphone with the first generation was completed in 3 hours, and with the second generation in 2.5 hours. The price is 149 Chinese yuan, converted 20.50 euros. Shipping costs and any additional costs that a store would charge may be added to this.
