Ubiquiti has placed two Wi-Fi 6 access points in its online store and is taking preorders. The UniFi 6 Lite Access Point costs 96 euros, the UniFi 6 Long-Range Access Point is available for 180 euros.

The UniFi 6 Lite and UniFi 6 Long-Range will both be available on December 14. The Lite version is a 2×2-mu-mimo access point with an advertised throughput of 1.2Gbit / s for the 5GHz band and 300Mbit / s for 2.4GHz. The network device contains gigabit ethernet with power-over-ethernet based on the 802.3af protocol, which provides a power of up to 15.4W per port.

The UniFi 6 Long-Range offers 4×4 mu-mimo for up to 2.4Gbit / s over 5GHz and and 4×4-mimo for a bandwidth of 600Mbit / s on the 2.4GHz frequency band. This access point contains a dual coresoc that works at 1.3GHz. The PoE protocol used with this device is 802.3at, for a maximum power of 30W per port.

The new UniFi 6 access points support Wi-Fi 6, or 802.11ax, but not yet the new Wi-Fi 6th standard, which can use the 6 GHz frequency.

Update, 15.10: Prices have been adjusted to prices including VAT. Initially, the message stated the prices without VAT, as they were on the Ubiquiti site.
