Total War: Three Kingdoms is getting ports to Linux and macOS. Creative Assembly’s strategy game will be released sometime after the Windows version next year, promises Feral Interactive, which is responsible for the ports.

When Total War: Three Kingdoms will come out exactly for Linux and macOS is not known, but Feral is talking about “shortly” after the Windows release, which will take place on March 7, 2019. Feral Interactive is responsible for many ports to Linux and the Apple platforms, such as Rise of the Tomb Raider and previous Total War games such as the Warhammer II version and Thrones of Britannia.

Total War: Three Kingdoms is set in around 190 AD China. The player must take control of different parts of the country and build his own dynasty as the new ruler. There is a choice of eleven renowned warlords. The game was initially scheduled to be released in the fall of this year, but Creative Assembly decided to postpone it to early next year last summer.
