The Witcher 3 gets official mod editor for new quests and ‘content’
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will get a free, official mod editor in 2024. The editor only comes to PC and allows users to add new quests and content, or modify existing quests and content.
The developer provides few further details about the mod editor; for example, it is not known what content users can add and what they can adjust to existing content. Mods already exist for The Witcher 3, but the mod editor will likely give moderators easier access to the game’s assets. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released in 2015 and has sold more than fifty million copies. Developer CD Projekt Red is working on a new game in The Witcher series.
