Tele2 increases prices for internet subscriptions for existing customers

Tele2 is implementing a price increase for its internet subscriptions for existing customers. The most expensive subscription, Internet Extra, goes from 28 to 29 euros per month. The second most expensive subscription, Internet Basis, will be 2 euros more expensive and will be 27 euros per month.

The increase in prices for these two plans is necessary, according to the provider, because network and service costs have recently increased. The new prices only apply to the two internet subscriptions mentioned; prices for television and fixed telephony remain unchanged. The cheapest internet subscription, Internet Light, also remains unchanged in terms of price for existing customers.

The new prices only apply to existing subscribers. The prices on the Tele2 website for internet subscriptions for new customers differ slightly from the increased prices for existing customers: new customers pay 28 euros per month for Internet Basic and 30 euros per month for Internet Extra. After the price increase for existing customers has been implemented, they therefore pay 1 euro per month less than new customers for the same subscriptions.

The price change will take effect from 1 July and does not apply to fiber optic internet subscriptions. Customers can change or cancel their subscription due to the price increase. You can do this free of charge until June 30.
