Documentation sent to developers would indicate that Valve will adjust the price of game bundles on Steam. Gamers no longer have to pay for games they already own. It is not yet clear whether this will apply to all bundles.

PCGamesN says it has seen documents from Valve explaining a new bundle pricing structure. Also, the dynamic bundle price has already been implemented in practice with the Headup Games Complete Bundle. This game pack costs 59.83 euros, but when logging into a Steam account that already has one or more games from the bundle, the price will be adjusted.

For example, the bundle turns out to be 84 cents cheaper if the Steam account has one of the games from the bundle with a value of 99 cents in the game library. The difference can be explained by the fact that when purchasing the bundle a further discount of 15 percent is given on the individual discount price per game.

On Steam, temporary bundles consisting of various games are regularly offered. Anyone who buys such a bundle currently pays a fixed price. Gamers who already have some of the bundle content in their game library will pay the full bundle price, but will not receive another copy of the game or games they already own. The dynamic bundle price seems to change this, but it is not yet known whether this price structure will apply to all bundles in the future. Valve has not officially released anything about the new bundle prices.

The Headup Games Complete Bundle costs 59.83 euros on Steam. If you already have one of the games in your library, you pay less. For example, the image on the right shows that with an account that already has Deadly 30, the price drops to 58.99 euros.
