Sony to release XF83 and XF70 series TVs with 4K LCD in the summer in the Benelux

Sony is going to release two new series of 4K LCD TVs in the Benelux in the summer. The TVs in the XF83 series come in 60″ and 70″ screen sizes, while the models in the XF70 series are up to 65″ in size. All TVs support 4k resolution and HDR playback.

The two models in the XF83 series are the KD-60XF8305 and KD-70XF8305, with a 60″ and a 70″ screen respectively. These TVs feature Sony’s X1 processor; the already released TVs in the XF90 series have the slightly more advanced X1 Extreme processor. Sony has not yet announced prices for these TVs.

The TVs in the XF70 series come in four different screen sizes: 43″, 49″, 55″ and 65″. Unlike the XF83 series, the XF70 TVs come with the so-called 4k X-reality Pro image processor. No prices are yet known for these TVs.

The televisions in the XF83 series have support for HDR10, hybrig log gamma and Dolby Vision. The lower-ranked XF70 series models only support hdr10 and hybrid log gamma. The exact release dates of both series are still unknown.
