Software Update: Wuala 2013-08-06

Spread the love

Wuala, which you pronounce as the French word voilà, is a cloud storage service similar to SugarSync, Dropbox or Skydrive. It is part of LaCie, manufacturer of, among other things, external storage. An important spearhead of Wuala is security and files are therefore already encrypted on the client side and stored in this way without the password being sent along. Nobody, including Wuala, can therefore access the data. It is also not unimportant that the data is stored in Europe, so that European legislation applies. Wuala is available for Windows, Linux, OS X, iOS and Android and a new version of the client has been released this week. Below are all the changes made this year.
