Software Update: WinSnap 3.1.1

NTWind Software released version 3.1.1 of WinSnap on Tuesday. With this program it is possible to take screenshots in Windows, where WinSnap takes into account the ’round corners’ that many windows have in Windows XP and Vista. Multiple windows or an open pull-down menu can also be grabbed. In addition, some operations can be performed on the images, including rotating and adding a shadow or watermark. The short changelog of this release reveals the following changes:

Changes in version 3.1.1:

  • Added Drag-n-Drop support (drag image and drop onto WinSnap to open it)
  • Added ability to run WinSnap after installation on Vista and Windows 7
  • Several improvements on WinSnap Portable Edition
