Software Update: WinRAR 3.30 beta 5
RarLab, producer of the compressing jack of all trades WinRAR has released the fifth beta for version 3.30 of this software. In the changelog we read the following:
- Previous beta could fail to create high ASCII folder names, when unpacking RAR archive in non-Unicode operating systems (Windows 9x).
- Some of truncated GZIP archives caused the previous beta to stop responding.
