Download WinLIRC 0.6.5
The compact program WinLIRC is written for sending and receiving standard infrared signals. This allows you to use almost any remote control with infrared to control your computer. In addition, you can also broadcast signals so that you can operate the stereo or television.
The name comes from Linux Infrared Remote Control which serves as the basis for this Windows program. Version 0.6.5 was recently released and has the following changelog:
Changes:
- Added support for all documented aspects of the LIRC TCP/IP protocol, except that SEND_START and SEND_STOP are not supported. For full compatibility, set the transmit password to “SEND_ONCE”.
- The password is no longer case sensitive.
- Clients are now notified about reconfiguration, etc.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed LONG_IR_CODE
- Fixed gap length for transmitting remotes with CONST_LENGTH
- Transmitter type is now set correctly for the last remote in the config file
