Software update: VMware Workstation Pro 17.0.2

Spread the love

VMware has released version 17.0.2 of its virtualization software Workstation Pro. With this program it is possible to create one or more virtual computers on which a large number of different operating systems can be installed. That way they can be used side by side, unlike a dual boot setup, which requires choosing one OS or the other. VMware Workstation is available for Windows and Linux, as well licenses start at around 195 euros. New in version 17 includes a virtual TPM 2.0 module, which enables support for Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022. Also, virtual machines can now start automatically when the guest machine starts and there is support for OpenGL 4.3 and Windows Display Driver Model 1.2. Version 17.0.2 is a so-called bug fix release that should resolve various security problems and program errors.
