Software update: VMware Workstation Player 17.0.2

VMware has released version 17.0.2 of Workstation Player. Player is free software that creates and runs virtual machines. However, a fee is charged for commercial use. Simply put, it is a simplified version of other VMware products such as Workstation Pro, Server and ESX Server. Microsoft Virtual PC virtual machines and Symantec LiveState Recovery disks are also supported. New features in version 17 include a TPM 2.0 virtual module, enabling support for Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022, as well as support for OpenGL 4.3 and Windows Display Driver Model 1.2. Version 17.0.2 is also a so-called bug fix release that should resolve some security problems:
