A new version of Vienna has been available for download on Source Forge since a few days. Available for the MacOS X and *Unix platforms, this program allows a CIX conference to be read offline afterwards. The changelog for this version looks like this:

Changes:

  • Added support for Mugshots
  • Drop onto mugshot window, saves as TIF file in the mugshots folder
  • Mugshot search order: tif, gif, bmp, jpg
  • Ignore DPI setting in mugshot files so they don’t display REALLY small.
  • Also read mugshots from Address Book
  • Add menu option and hot-key to toggle the display of Windows characters.
  • Quoting of original message in reply (all or selection)
  • ‘Z’ also moves to next unread message
  • Add a “next Unread” button for the toolbar
  • Fixed bug where the Browser tables were not being created in the database.

  • Added missing function header comments.

  • Fix a minor issue which caused tasks to be executed online out of order.
  • Fix UI painting issue by modifying the way that auto-collapse is triggered.
  • Reply By Mail now uses person’s preferred email address from the profile if there is one.
