Software update: Ventoy 1.0.86

Version 1.0.86 of Ventoy has been released. Self-starting USB sticks can be created with this open source program. However, the way it does that is different from similar tools. The USB stick only needs to be prepared once and then as many ISO files can be placed on the stick as there is free space. Ventoy automatically creates a boot menu for the existing ISO files. Support is provided for both UEFI and legacy boot and it has been tested with 1052 different ISO files. The changelog for this release looks like this:

Changes in Ventoy 1.0.86:

  • Add VTOY_WIN11_BYPASS_NRO option in global control plugin to bypass online account requirement when install Windows 11.

  • Change the MBR partition type to 0xC if user selects FAT32 when install Ventoy.
  • VentoyPlugson: Add duplicate file path check in different lower/upper cases.
