Software update: Ventoy 1.0.82

Spread the love

Ventoy is an open source program for creating self-starting USB sticks. However, the way it does that is different from similar tools. The USB stick only needs to be prepared once and then as many ISO files can be placed on the stick as there is free space. Ventoy automatically creates a boot menu for the available ISO files. Support is present for both UEFI and legacy boot and it has been tested with 1020 different ISO files. The changelog for version 1.0.82 looks like this:

Ventoy2Disk.exe/Ventoy2Disk_X64.exe files are updated in this release (it’s been a long time since their last update in 1.0.76). So there may be some false positives again from antivirus software.
