Software Update: Threema 3.0.8 for iOS / 3.41 for Android

Threema is a messaging app for Android, iOS and Windows Phone, with a focus on security. For example, it provides end-to-end encryption and generates as little metadata as possible. It is also a Swiss company, which means that the Swiss regulations are in force. The differences with other messaging apps are this page explained. Version 3.0.8 for iOS and version 3.41 for Android were recently released, with the following changes:

Threema 3.0.8 for iOS

• Tap on a quoted message to jump to original message
• Improvements for landscape mode
• VoiceOver: improved navigation between messages if URLs are involved
• VoiceOver: read out incoming messages if the app is in the foreground
• Various other improvements and several bug fixes
