Software Update: TaskJuggler 3.1.0

TaskJuggler is an open source project management tool. It has an extensive package of functions on board with which various things can be arranged. It helps you plan resources, costs, risks and communication to complete the project. The program can export the entered information to csv, html and xml, allowing it to be used in other applications. Hello Everybody!

I’m happy to announce the immediate availability of TaskJuggler 3.1.0! It features new account reports, comprehensive leave management and the ability to use TaskJuggler as a To-do list manager. In addition to these highlights, we also have a long list of medium to small improvements like:

  • Adding colorized terminal output.
  • The rich text token now supports RGB values.
  • ‘headcount’ is now also supported for tasks.
  • Adding examples for textreport and attributes to manual.
  • Added new logical function ‘isresponsibilityof’.
  • Support ‘-‘ argument for ‘balance’ to clear a set balance.
  • Gantt charts now use normal task bars for rolled-up tasks.
  • Adding query attribute ‘turnover’ for account reports.
  • Adopted tasks are now included in the reports.
  • Don’t include deprecated keywords in vim syntax file.
  • RichText now also supports colored text.
  • Added error message for no longer supported keywords.
  • Clearly mark deprecated and removed keywords in syntax manual.
