Software Update: Suse Linux 9.2

The folks at Suse released the Suse Linux 9.2 DVD image today. This version comes with KDE 3.3, Gnome 2.6, OpenOffice.org 1.1.3, and The Gimp 2.2, among others. As kernel, the developers of Suse Linux kernel used 2.6.8. In October 2004 it was already possible to use the live CD of Suse Linux 9.2, but as of today the full version can be downloaded. The DVD image of 9.2 is via this link directly downloadable. If you don’t have a DVD burner, you can the mini installation download and burn to CD. When it is then booted, you can choose which packages should be downloaded. Below you can read what is included with Suse Linux 9.2:
