Software Update: Subsonic 5.3

Version 5.3 of Subsonic has been released. Subsonic is an open source and cross-platform media streamer, which can stream music and videos both inside and outside its own home network and to several users at the same time. The media can be accessed via a web browser on the computer and there are also apps for Android, iOS and Windows Phone, among others. The complete list of changes and improvements made in version 5.3 can be found below.

Subsonic 5.3

New:

• Show sidebar by default. Remember state across sessions.

bug fix:

• Fixed error with list of newest podcast episodes.
• Much faster artist bio.
• Display shorter artist bio.

Subsonic 5.3.beta2

• Allow custom URL as an alternative to *.subsonic.org
• Display proper message when visiting a non-existent or expired share.
