Software update: Startup Delayer 3.0 build 338

Spread the love

R2 Studios has released a new version of Startup Delayer. This program can customize the Windows startup process so that the user can access the desktop faster. One of the reasons Windows is slow to start is that many programs and processes start at the same time. Some of these can be turned on a little later, such as e-mail programs and quick launchers for, for example, OpenOffice and Adobe Reader. With Startup Delayer it is possible to specify the order of the programs to be started and to assign them a waiting time. This allows faster access to the desktop, while less important programs are loaded in the background a little later. The changelog for this release looks like this:

Changes in this build:

  • Added additional labels for toolbar filter and search
  • Updated various Translations
  • Fixed Localizer not talking to the r2 Studios website correctly when uploading
  • Fixed installation issue with deleting scheduled tasks
  • Added fix for COMException due to Scheduled Tasks query
  • Fixes for reported crash reports
  • Added fix for zip EOF in header
  • Fixed Startup Launcher not launching apps when ‘Enable at Startup’ is unchecked, but you use the Start menu link to launch
  • Fixed logic when waiting for an app to completely load AND waiting for application to terminate

  • Fixed issue with deleting the Scheduled task
