Gabriel Topala has released a new version of SIW. SIW is short for System Information for Windows and that is exactly what the program does: provide comprehensive information about a Windows PC. This information relates not only to the hardware present in the PC, but also to the software, the network and the running processes and services. SIW is less than two and a half megabytes in size and does not need to be installed to do its job. In addition to the free version for home use, commercial versions are available, which include LCD test and extra options for reports. New commercial versions appear regularly, but the free version is updated less frequently. Recently 2011 build 0707 was released and its changelog looked like this:
