Days after the release of version 6.8.2.0 of AnyDVD, SlySoft has already released a successor. This program runs in the background in Windows and is able to bypass the region and copy protection of DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray discs on the fly. It is also able to skip ‘mandatory parts’, such as copyright and FBI warnings. Finally, the speed of the drive can be adjusted to reduce the noise produced during playback. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:
