Software update: RivaTuner 2.24B

An intermediate version of RivaTuner was released on Monday with version number 2.24B. Version 2.25 is still under development, but this intermediate version has been released especially for the MSI Master Overclocking Arena 2009, which will take place in Beijing at the end of this month. This program is one of the oldest video card tweaking programs. With RivaTuner it is possible to tweak video cards from Nvidia and ATI by, for example, adjusting (hidden) DirectX and OpenGL settings and overclocking the memory and the GPU. Furthermore, it is possible to define settings per program or game and to make adjustments at driver or even hardware level. Finally, it can be used for hardware monitoring. The changelog of this release shows the following changes and improvements:

  • Added databases for ForceWare 190.15, 190.38 and 190.56.
  • Added unified Windows 7/Vista ForceWare drivers versions (8.15.xx.xxxx) support.
