Software Update: RegCompact.NET 1.8

On Experimental Scene, version 1.8 of RegCompact.NET can be downloaded. This program is intended to rebuild the Windows registry. The registry does not get smaller when keys are removed, only “empty holes” are added. Rebuilding it will make it smaller and make the computer boot faster. As the name implies, the program has the .NET Framework needed to do its job. The changelog for this release looks like this:

• Added support for logical drive management (LDM) volumes.
• Fixed bug with the About Box’s hyperlink that stopped it from working.
