Software Update: qBittorrent 3.1.8

A new version of qBittorrent was released on Sunday and two successors were released that same day, due to a mistake. This open source torrent client has versions for Windows, Linux, OS X and FreeBSD, and shows no ads. The program is with Qt4 developed and based on libtorrent (raster bar) and boost. The program is the brainchild of French student Christophe Dumez, who has been working on it since March 2006. Since version 3.1.5, changes and improvements have been made:

WebUI:

ONION:

• Reposition statistics menu item.
• Convert more accurately decimal numbers to text.

Windows/OS X:

• Improvements on the behavior of the program updater. Closes #1282

Linux:

• Explicitly tell that we don’t support freedesktop’s startup notify standard. Fixes GNOME issues. Closes #1217.
• Add our WM_CLASS in the .desktop file so window managers know how to group our windows.

Other:

• Sync translations from Transifex.
