Software Update: PowerArchiver 2006 9.5 beta 4

The fourth beta release of version 9.5 of PowerArchiver has just been released. This archiving program can handle the most common archiving types, but is also not averse to CD or DVD images. The beta version is only available in English and uses a new registration system. Existing users will therefore have to retrieve a new serial number. The last time we reviewed PowerArchiver was beta version 2, so below are all the changes since that version:

• This near-final beta release includes a number of minor bug fixes and improvements over beta 3.

Power Archiver 2006 9.5 beta 3

• Minor fixes have been made in this release, along with some updated extraction routines. The Drag and Drop window has also been redesigned.
