Software Update: phpMyAdmin 2.8.0-beta1

Yesterday the first beta version of phpMyAdmin 2.8.0 was released on the homepage of phpMyAdmin. The new-fangled release can be downloaded as zip, tarball and Bzip2 package. A MySQL database can be maintained via a web browser using phpMyAdmin. Not only is it possible to create databases and tables, but they can also be dropped and modified. In phpMyAdmin 2.8.0-beta1 comes with the following release notes:
