Software update: Notepad++ 6.4.2

Version 6.4.2 of Notepad++ has been released. This comprehensive text editor has various features that are especially useful for programmers, such as syntax highlighting for C, C++, Java, html, XML and php, among others. The program also offers the possibility to edit more than one document at the same time or even to maintain one document in two different places. If you want to use the latest version, you will have to pick it up yourself. Notepad++’s built-in updater only offers updates 15 days after their appearance in order to be able to fix any serious bugs. The changelog for version 6.4.2 shows the following changes and improvements:

Notepad++ v6.4.2 new features and bug fixes:

• Fix localization regressions.
• Make “Begin/End Select” Command recordable in macro.
• Enhance the delimiter selection(Ctrl + double click) feature.
• Fix Find/Replace dialog status bar overwriting memory problem.
• Fix Run dialog doesn’t work with spaces in path.
• Fix “Find all in current document” asking for creating a new file bug (regression).
