Software Update: NewsBin Pro 6.52 build 3288

The final release of NewsBin Pro version 6.52 has been released. With this program files such as photos, movies and programs can be retrieved from usenet. New in version 6.50 is, among other things, a so-called watch function, which can be used to watch for specific content when retrieving the headers. Also, the download can be extracted to any location. Since beta 6, the following changes and improvements have been made:

• Update internal version numbers and copy data under help/about
• Remove RC designation from version number in title bar
• Fix issue where incomplete files don’t get padded out if chunks are no longer in memory
• Fixed crash issue when creating NZB files.

Version 6.52 Release Candidate 2 Build 3280

• Fix issue where .nb2 files weren’t getting deleted on filename filter hits.

Version 6.52 Release Candidate 1 Build 3278

• Implemented pre-filtering on NZB files before compaction
• Fixed expansion problem nzzz found.

Version 6.52 Release Candidate 1 Build 3276

• Fixed issue where small text files, like .nfo files were getting into the duplicate detection database causing entire sets to fail as a duplicate.

Version 6.52 Release Candidate 1 Build 3268

• Fixed issue with filter hits leaving .nb2 files lying around.
• Fixed issue where posts marked as spam from the search engine are being marked as downloaded in the status column. Now says “Spam”.
• Updated the icon legend under the Help menu.

• Fixed tooltip for new Auto-shutdown mode toggle
• Keep in mind that if you have “Shutdown Windows” selected under Options/Advanced then windows will shut down when Newsbin does a auto-shutdown.
