Software Update: NetSetMan 4.6.1

Spread the love

Ilja Herlein has released version 4.6.0 of NetSetMan. With this program, various settings can be adjusted quickly and easily by means of profiles. It is especially useful for laptop users who use their computers in different locations such as home and work. With the push of a button, for example, the IP address, the default printer and the smtp server can be changed. The program is free to use, but there is also a pro version for commercial users, which also allows customizing the domain, proxy server and browser homepage. The changelog for this release looks like this:

New:

  • Activation log shows assigned IP addresses when DHCP was set
  • Skipping activation of settings if they are currently already set (To force re-initializing IP settings, set Adapter Status: Restart)
  • “Waiting for network” only if there are other settings following
  • “No network adapter selected” only shown if relevant in that profile
  • Several improvements for command line activation

Fixed:

  • LAN/Adapter settings showed an error even if completed successfully
