Software Update: MSI Afterburner 3.0.1

MSI, together with RivaTuner, develops the Afterburner program, a tweak program for graphics cards. Although MSI has attached its name to it, the program can also be used with products from other manufacturers, although not all functionality will always be available. Afterburner can track and display various values ​​of the graphics card, such as clock speed, voltage, temperature, fan speed and frame rate. In addition, it is possible to overclock the card and create different profiles, which can be easily switched between. Predator allows the video output to be captured and shared. Version 3.0.1 has been released and the following changes have been made to it:

MSI Afterburner version 3.0.1

  • Added core voltage control for reference design AMD RADEON R9 295X2 series graphics cards with NCP81022 voltage regulators
  • Fixed hardware database for reference design AMD RADEON HD 7990 and AMD RADEON HD 290X series graphic cards
  • Fixed GDI resource leak when tray icon monitoring mode is enabled
  • RivaTuner Statistics Server has been upgraded to version 6.1.2
