Software Update: Mozilla Firefox 10.0.1

Mozilla has an update for version 10.0 of Firefox on offer. New in 10.0 Among other things, the forward button is hidden until the back button is used. Furthermore, anti-aliasing in WebGL can now be used and the inspect tool now has content highlighting. In addition, with the release of a new version, which nowadays happens every six weeks, it is no longer necessary to update all add-ons, so that they can also handle the new version. In version 10.0.1 we also find a bug fix and a security problem.

Fixed in Firefox 10.0.1:

• MFSA 2012-10 use after free in
  nsXBLDocumentInfo::ReadPrototypeBindings
• Java applets sometimes caused text input to become unresponsive (bug 718939)
