Software Update: Miranda IM 0.8.11

The open source instant messaging program Miranda IM has been updated to version 0.8.11. Miranda IM is only developed for Windows and offers standard support for ICQ, irc, MSN, AIM, Jabber and Yahoo. The download is less than 1.5 megabytes in size and with that you get a bare and light program. However, both the functionality and appearance of the program can be changed with more than 350 different addons and plugins can be completely customized to your liking. It is thus one of the most customizable im clients for Windows. In this release, the status of file transfers in the taskbar in Windows 7 can be tracked and some bug fixes have been made:
