Software update: Media Portal 0.1.0.0 beta

Media Portal 0.1.0.0 beta has been available for download on Source Forge for several days now. Media Portal is a Windows port of the Xbox media center, with which a PC can be turned into a HTPC (Home Theater PC). The software allows you to watch and listen to radio, music, video and DVDs in an easy way. In addition, it is also capable of recording TV programs. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

Added:

• MSN plugin
  • Added wordwrap for MSN plugin
  • You can now insert characters in the middle of a text with the SMS control -added dialog which is shown during sign-in
• New button in configuration/tvguide to remove all programs from the tv database
