Software Update: Macrium Reflect 5.2.6515

Paramount Software has released a new version of Macrium Reflect. This program can create a disk image of a partition or hard disk. Macrium Reflect is free for private use, but there are also paid performances, That extras including being able to perform a file backup or an incremental backup, encryption, and restore a backup to hardware other than that on which it was created. The standard version costs 45 euros, the pro version 60 euros and the server edition goes home for 193 euros. The following issues are fixed in this release:

USB rescue media
Some USB pen drive configurations were not supported by the USB rescue media wizard. This has been resolved.

Windows PE
On specific windows XP configurations, the PE based rescue environment build can fail. This has been resolved.

Image verification Problems
A rare situation could cause Images created with v5.2.6504 to fail verification due to a race condition during image creation. This has been resolved.
