Software Update: GParted Live 1.3.1-1

Version 1.3.1-1 of GParted has been released live. With the Gnome Partition Editor it is possible to partition a hard drive and modify existing partitions, for example by changing the file system or resizing. The program is not large, but usually it comes in the form of a live CD, so that it can be used on almost any computer. Since version 1.3.0-1, the following changes and improvements have been made:

GParted Live 1.3.1-1 Stable Release

The GParted team is pleased to announce a new stable release of GParted Live. This release includes GParted 1.3.1, updated packages, and other improvements. Items of notes include:

  • Based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2021/Jul/20)
  • Linux image updated to 5.10.46-1
  • Package gvfs was added

GParted 1.3.1

This release of GParted includes bug fixes and language translation updates. Key changes include:

  • Fix recognition of SD/MMC device names
  • Make XFS copy duplicate the file system label and UUID
