Version 2.10.18 of the open source photo editing program GIMP has been released; version 2.10.16 was skipped due to a critical error. The name GIMP is short for ‘GNU Image Manipulation Program’. The software is available for various operating systems, including Windows, FreeBSD, Linux, macOS and Solaris. New in version 2.10 includes the GEGL-image processing engine, the canvas can be rotated and we find several new and improved tools.
