Software Update: Fugu 1.1.2

The development team of Research Systems Unix Group has released a new version of Fugu with 1.1.2 as the version number. The program is a handy graphical shell for OpenSSH on the Mac OS X platform. This allows data to be transferred in an encrypted connection, so that intermediate points no longer have a view of which data is being sent. Fugu also supports file transfers over SCP and the ability to create secure tunnels over SSH. The included changelog looks like this:

• scp image well accepts drops
• scp local path field accepts drops (Mark Fleming)
• sftp filetype in info window is obtained via LaunchServices
• project upgraded from ProjectBuilder to Xcode native

Fix:

• sftp properly null-terminates raw byte strings in download path
• sftp browser re-caches icons if directory is modified
• sftp CLI external editing handles spaces in pathnames
• eliminated crash when uploading an externally edited file and Fugu is hidden
