Software update: foobar2000 0.9.6 beta 4

The fourth beta release of foobar2000 0.9.6 was released on Friday. Foobar2000 can handle mp1, mp2, mp3, mp4, mpc, aac, ogg vorbis, flac and ogg flac, wavpack, wav, aiff, au, snd, cdda and wma and also has support for Replay Gain, converting from and to different formats and has extensive options for customizing the tags. In addition, it is possible to change the functionality using plugins to expand further. The main changes in version 0.9.6 are that the media library now automatically detects when changes have been made to one of the folders and the built-in support for Matroska files. • Bug: Middleclicking in various controls may result in a deadlock – introduced in beta 3.
• Annoyance: User interface becomes unresponsive for several second when adding or removing multiple files to/from the Media Library, especially while using the Facets component.

• Bug: Files with hidden attribute set reappear in the Media Library after a restart.
• Bug: Media Library ignores folders with names starting with a dot character.
• Bug: Certain folders can’t be added to the Media Library when folders with a similar name are already added.

• Bug: Seekbar is accessible while playing online streams; seeking results in weird behaviors.
• Bug: When playing a track from explorer while there are still items in the playback queue, the next track from the queue is played instead.
